Rotten teeth pictures seem to be very interesting to many people. The letter A is showing where the “rot” is in this tooth #2. “Rot” is tooth decay. This patient was not sedated, the area was locally numbed in my dentist office in Palm Harbor FL the first week of June 2012. It was decided to extract this painful tooth. Upon visual examination, after the rotten tooth was extracted, an extra root was noted. It is small, but the letter B is identifying a second mesiobuccal root! This condition is out of the ordinary, but not exceptionally rare as I have seen it may time in my Tampa Bay area dental office.
